Merit Awards

From time to time the Town Council acknowledges the voluntary work of local people by giving a ‘MERIT AWARD’.  Any member of the public can nominate a person or organisation for a Merit Award.  Nominees can be of any age. 

Nominations to be received by the end of October. The council will discuss any nominations in January, with the presentation(s) being made at the Annual Town Meeting in April.  Ocasionally, as appropriate, Merit Awards are presented throughout the year.
